To prep for your Vampy Facial, follow these few simple steps:

1. Avoid blood thinning medication for at least a week before your procedure.
2. Try to stay out of the sun for 2-3 days before your facial. You want your skin to be as tolerant as possible to reduce possible sensitivity.
3. Your doctor will ask you about any medication you're taking: you may need to stop this before your session, as well.
4. Avoid taking blood thinning medication during the week leading up to your session.

At the start of your appointment, a certified professional will apply a topical numbing cream to the treatment area. This will reduce any discomfort caused by the tiny needles. Once you're numbed, your CHIC Laser pro will glide a pen-like device over your skin. Working its way in lines over the treatment area, the "pen" dispenses minor pinpricks from microscopic needles as it passes over the skin.
